Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club in Walkden is seeking an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Associate to support guest experiences across our hotel restaurant, room service and events. You will host weddings, golf outings, corporate guests and leisure visitors with a focus on memorable service.

The role involves greeting guests, advising on menus, processing orders in MICROS, handling cash, and coordinating with the kitchen to meet dietary requests.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel restaurant and room service operations.
• Ability to assist guests with menu options and dietary needs.
• Familiarity with MICROS till system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor restaurant and room service areas.
• Provide a warm welcome to guests, advising them of menu options.
• Record all transactions in the MICROS till system at time of order.
• Provide food and beverage service, including alcohol and non-vegetarian items.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, recook orders and dietary needs.
• Carry out room service duties.
• Complete closing duties, including cash handling/banking.
• Report maintenance or security issues to supervisors.
• Participate in training when required.

Food & Beverage Associates at Delta by Marriott Worsley Park enjoy a varied and very active role in providing our guests with memorable and unique experiences. As part of our family of associates you will host a blend of guests & events including weddings, golf, sports teams, corporate guests & leisure visitors.

Specific duties include;

• Preparing and monitor the Hotel Restaurant and Room Serviceareas for service and guest comfort
• Providing a warm welcome to guests, advising them of menu options and answering questions about products & services where necessary
• Record all transactions in the MICROS till system at time of order
• Provide food and beverage service, including alcohol and non-vegetarian items
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
• Carry out room service duties
• Complete closing duties, including cash handling/banking
• Report any maintenance or security issues to supervisors
• Participate in training when required
