Job summary

Bespoke Hotels in Ullapool is seeking a friendly and proactive Food & Beverage Assistant to join our welcoming team. Live-in accommodation is available, helping you settle into the Highlands while delivering warm service in our restaurant, bar and lounge.

You will take orders, serve meals, assist with bar duties, and work closely with kitchen colleagues to ensure guest satisfaction. Prior hospitality experience is useful but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued.

• Experience in hospitality, restaurant, bar or hotel environment is desirable but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Providing warm and professional service to hotel guests in the restaurant, bar and lounge areas.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serving food and drinks to company standards.
• Preparing and setting up dining areas before service.
• Ensuring tables are cleaned, cleared and reset promptly.
• Assisting with bar service, including preparing beverages and handling payments.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout all food and beverage areas.
• Working closely with the kitchen and wider hotel team to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Assisting with breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events as required.

Situated on the shores of Loch Broom and surrounded by stunning Highland scenery, our hotel offers guests exceptional hospitality, comfortable accommodation, and quality food and drink.
