Job summary

Aimbridge is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to ensure our breakfast buffet delivers an exceptional guest experience. You will maintain the buffet, replenish items, and deliver attentive service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will help keep the dining area clean and safe, assist with food prep, and collaborate with other staff to support the hotel’s F&B operations. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, is required.

A day in the life of ...

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, your primary responsibility will be ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional breakfast buffet experience. You will be responsible for maintaining the buffet presentation, replenishing food and beverage items, serving guests, and providing attentive service throughout breakfast.

You will maintain a clean, organised, and inviting dining environment, ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met. You may also assist with food preparation and support other Food & Beverage operations as required, demonstrating flexibility and agility to meet the needs of the wider business.

Success in this role requires a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Subsidy will be provided if taxi is required before shift starts (subsidy only available before 6am)

What do we need from you?

• Food and Beverage experience isn't essential for this role, but to be successful, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards
• You’ll have strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• An ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent service to guest, being agile in your ability to support colleagues across the hotel
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organised dining area
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
