Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to ensure guests have a first-class dining experience. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and drinks, and handle payments with accuracy.

Maintain a clean dining area, restock supplies, and assist with food preparation while supporting the wider team. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, as is flexibility to cover varying shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Guest service experience is a plus and passion for delivering a great guest experience.
• Strong communication with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Able to work well in a team and collaborate with staff to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks.
• Handle payments and maintain accurate service at the dining area.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area; restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with food preparation as required and support hotel operations.
• Work agilely to support the wider business while upholding Aimbridge’s pillars.

A day in the life of ...

As Food and Beverage Assistant you’ll be responsible for ensuring that guests have a positive, first class dining experience. You’ll greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle payments. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised dining area, restocking supplies, and assisting with food preparation as needed whilst working agilely to support the rest of the wider business. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail are essential for this role and you'll always work with Aimbridge’s four pillars of Food and Beverage in mind: People, Product, Guest, Performance.

What do we need from you?

• Food and Beverage experience isn't essential for this role, but to be successful, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through your brand standards
• You’ll have strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• An ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent service to guest, being agile in your ability to support colleagues across the hotel
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organised dining area
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
