Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our hotel team in Belfast. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to learn essential skills and grow within the organization.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will deliver friendly, efficient service to our guests and help drive sales through upselling. We promote from within and offer a supportive, team-oriented environment with development opportunities and employee benefits across our

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.
