Laurus Trust is seeking a dedicated and organised Food and Nutrition Technician to support the Food Technology department at our Manchester site. You will help run practical lessons, ensuring safety and smooth operation, and contribute to students’ learning experiences in a vibrant educational environment.

This term-time role offers 35 hours per week with potential for part-time arrangements. You will work closely with staff to enable students to develop practical life skills through Food

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Food and Nutrition Technician to support our vibrant Food Technology department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in food preparation and food handling environments who is passionate about helping young people succeed.

Working closely with teaching staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring practical lessons run smoothly, safely and efficiently. Your contribution will directly support students' learning experiences and help create an engaging environment where students can develop valuable life skills through Food Technology.

This position is contracted on a 35 hours per week Term Time Only basis. We do also welcome applications for part time working, please express within your application. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.
