Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking friendly Waiting Staff to deliver exceptional service across our restaurants, bars, and venues. If you love working with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you.

You’ll take orders, serve food and drinks, clear tables, and help guests with menus and promotions while maintaining knowledge of allergens and daily offers. We offer training across our 65 parks, Employee Assistance Programme, and generous discounts on holidays and meals.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is desirable but not essential.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Taking customer orders accurately and processing payments using tills.
• Serving food and drinks promptly, courteously, and professionally.
• Preparing, clearing, and cleaning tables to maintain a tidy and inviting venue.

As part of our Waiting Staff team, you’ll be a key player in delivering warm, welcoming, and professional service. Whether you’re taking orders, serving food and drinks, or making recommendations, you’ll ensure every guest enjoys an enjoyable and seamless dining experience.

What you will be doing...

• Taking customer orders accurately and processing payments using tills.
• Serving food and drinks promptly, courteously, and professionally.
• Preparing, clearing, and cleaning tables to maintain a tidy and inviting venue.
• Engaging with guests and providing information on menus, specials, and promotions.
• Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of menus, allergens, and daily offers.
• Working closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.

About you...

• The ability to work well under pressure in a busy hospitality environment.
• A positive, friendly attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or customer service (desirable but not essential).
