Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking a reliable Venue Cleaner to uphold high cleanliness standards across our on‑park venues in the UK. You will help keep bars, restaurants, entertainment spaces and communal areas spotless and welcoming for guests and team members.

You will follow schedules for routine and deep cleans, use cleaning chemicals safely, and respond quickly to spillages or urgent cleaning needs, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable (full training can be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied days, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining all venues to ensure they are guest-ready.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks across floors, surfaces and toilets.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely following COSHH guidelines.
• Monitor cleanliness during trading hours and respond to spillages or urgent needs.
• Replenish toilet paper, soap and paper towels as needed.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste, following recycling procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the manager.
• Collaborate with teammates to keep venues clean and presentable.
• Uphold high personal hygiene standards and wear PPE as required.

As a Venue Cleaner, you’ll play an important part in ensuring all guest‑facing and back‑of‑house areas look their best. From bars and restaurants to entertainment spaces and communal facilities, you’ll help create a clean, hygienic, and inviting atmosphere for guests, owners, and team members alike.

What you will be doing...

• Cleaning and maintaining all venues - including bars, restaurants, entertainment spaces, and communal facilities - to ensure they’re always guest‑ready.
• Completing routine and deep cleaning tasks in line with schedules, covering floors, surfaces, toilets, and high‑touch areas.
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly, following COSHH guidelines.
• Monitoring cleanliness during trading hours and responding promptly to spillages or urgent cleaning needs.
• Replenishing essential supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly, including following recycling procedures.
• Reporting maintenance concerns, damages, or safety hazards to the relevant manager.
• Working closely with other team members and departments to ensure all venues remain clean and presentable.
• Maintaining high personal hygiene standards and using PPE when required.

About you...

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (desirable - full training can be provided).
