Job summary

Dundee Heritage Trust is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the new café 77º South at Discovery Point. The role demands energy, excellent hospitality skills and the ability to train and support a growing team in a fast-paced visitor environment.

You will supervise front-of-house operations, manage rosters and uphold food safety and service standards across shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising food and beverage or hospitality operations.
• Experience coaching, mentoring and developing team members.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
• Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Personal Licence Holder (or willingness to obtain one).
• Experience working within a café.

Role Purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to play a key role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences across our new café 77º South at Discovery Point.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate front-of-house Food & Beverage teams.
• Support the induction, training and ongoing development of team members.
• Create a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture.
• Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Assist with rota planning and staffing requirements to meet business demands.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, licensing conditions and company policies.
• Complete operational checks and risk assessments where required.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed by all team members.
