Job summary

Leisure Focus Limited is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead the café at Windsor Leisure Centre in Windsor. The role requires enthusiasm, customer focus and the ability to supervise a team to deliver great service.

You will be responsible for daily operations, staff development and ensuring safety and cleanliness, with opportunities to progress into leadership roles within the leisure and hospitality sectors.

Qualifications

• You don't need extensive management experience; attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Experience in cafe, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Ability to lead a small team and support a Café Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead the café team during your shift to ensure smooth daily operation.

Leisure Focus is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Café Supervisor to join our team and help lead the day-to-day operation of our café within one of our busy leisure centres.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their hospitality career. You may already have experience working in a café, restaurant, hospitality or customer-facing environment and are now looking for the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and grow into a supervisory role.

You don't need to have years of management experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, energy and willingness to learn, who can take responsibility, support a team and help deliver an excellent experience for every customer.

What You'll Be Doing:

As Café Supervisor, you will play an important role in making sure the café runs smoothly, efficiently and safely.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the café and leading the team during your shift.
• Providing friendly, welcoming and professional customer service.
• Helping to motivate, support and develop café team members.
• Ensuring food and drinks are prepared and served to a consistently high standard.
• Supporting stock control, ordering and stock rotation.
• Managing cash handling and daily till procedures.
• Ensuring the café is clean, organised and presented to a high standard.
• Following all food safety, hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Responding positively to customer feedback and resolving issues where appropriate.
• Supporting the Café Manager with day-to-day administration and operational tasks.
• Helping to train new team members and lead by example.
• Taking responsibility for the café in the absence of the Café Manager.
• Working closely with the wider leisure centre team to create a positive experience for customers and members.

• Previous experience in a café, hospitality, retail, leisure or customer service environment.
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• The confidence to lead and support a small team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

• The ability to stay calm and organized in a busy environment.
• A good understanding of cleanliness, food hygiene and customer safety.
• The willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• The flexibility to work a range of shifts, including some evenings and weekends.
