seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our
esteemed team at the iconic Charlotte Street Hotel.
As a Food and Beverage Manager, you'll take
the helm in orchestrating the daily operations of our esteemed food and
beverage outlets. Your role will be pivotal, ensuring seamless coordination
between senior management and our dedicated team members, all to ensure that
our guests' expectations are not just met, but consistently exceeded.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of all food and beverage departments, orchestrating
smooth operations and setting the stage for exceptional guest experiences. - Liaise between senior management and team members, ensuring that
our service standards remain impeccably high and that crucial information flows
seamlessly. - Regularly check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction and
address any concerns promptly, ensuring their experience is nothing short of
extraordinary. - Conduct concise yet impactful training sessions to equip team
members with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver outstanding service
consistently. - Collaborate with the Head Chef and Bar Manager to develop enticing
menus and beverage offerings that tantalise the taste buds and keep guests
coming back for more. - Mentor and develop departmental managers, fostering a culture of
growth and excellence throughout the food and beverage team. - Oversee the operations of our events department, ensuring that
each event is flawlessly executed and leaves a lasting impression on our
guests. - Manage labour costs and schedules, implement food safety
protocols, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts to optimise
departmental performance. - Craft enticing promotions and utilize social media channels to
drive food and beverage sales, keeping our offerings fresh and appealing. - Monitor sales performance and uphold standards of upselling,
continuously striving to elevate the guest experience. - Develop departmental objectives and establish monthly
benchmarks, driving continuous improvement and excellence. - Oversee cashing up procedures, handle guest complaints with
finesse, and ensure that health and safety standards are rigorously upheld.
What you Need:
- Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or Restaurant
Manager within the luxury hotel or restaurant industry. - A relentless pursuit of exceptional standards, with an
unwavering commitment to excellence. - Strong leadership and motivational skills, capable of inspiring
and developing a high-performing team. - Demonstrated experience in training and developing staff to
deliver unparalleled service. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,
essential for effective collaboration and guest interactions. - Impeccable personal presentation, reflecting our commitment to
luxury and sophistication. - A resilient nature and a drive to achieve excellence,
consistently striving to get things right the first time. - Previous knowledge of Micros is desirable, demonstrating your
adaptability and technological acumen.
