Job description

40 hours: 5 over 7 days, weekends and flexibility required to work around business needs

The Old Swan are currently recruiting a Food and Beverage Manager to provide support to our management team. The right candidate will work alongside the hotel Operations Manager, ensuring the efficient and effective management approach to deliver great customer service and deliver seamless service and leadership to all the food and beverage area at the Hotel.

Candidates must be organised, committed to delivering excellence at all times, able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment, work well as part of a team, able to lead a team of staff and ideally have at least 2 years experience in a similar role in hotels/hospitality. May suit a Food and Beverage Deputy Mger ready for their next big move

Duties

Your Day To Day Duties Will Include

  • Working alongside the hotels Operations Manager
  • Working alongside the head chef and kitchen team to develop the Food and Beverage teams menu knowledge
  • Planning well so all aspects of Food and Beverage operate seamlessly
  • Ensure that the food and Beverage Team are motivated to deliver excellence at all times
  • Operating the restaurant and functions depending on business levels
  • Manage day to day staffing of departments and weekly rostering
  • Deliver on the job training to your team on a daily basis
  • Ensure that their department is kept clean, tidy and organised at all times
  • Manage the liquor stock rotation and weekly ordering in line with the business
  • Hours will include working shifts on a 5 out of 7 day basis. Shifts will also include working weekends, therefore flexibility is essential.
