Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team in Hull. You will be at the heart of the guest experience, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities include helping with food and drink service, maintaining dining area standards, and supporting events and day-to-day operations while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality role is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests.

• Support the team with setting up/clearing tables, restocking supplies and inventory tasks.

£ 19,827.6 per annum/ £12.71 per hour, 30 hours per week across 5 days.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.

Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.

Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.

Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.

Desired Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is desirable but not mandatory.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
