Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team in Gloucester. You will help prepare and serve food and drinks, maintain a clean dining area, and deliver exceptional guest service to ensure memorable experiences.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests.

  • Support the team with setup/clear-down, restocking supplies and inventory checks.
  • Assist with events and special functions coordination.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. As a Food andBeverage Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our guest experience, delivering exceptional service and ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.

Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.

Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.

Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.

Desired Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is desirable but not mandatory.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.

Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
