Job summary

Holiday Inn Hemel Hempstead is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team on a casual, occasional worker basis. You will help serve guests, support the dining room, and contribute to memorable guest experiences.

You will work in a fast-paced hospitality setting, with evenings, weekends and holidays as part of shifts, and you'll be supported by our team with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas in line with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
• Support the Food and Beverage team with setting up and clearing tables and restocking supplies.
• Assist with events and special functions as needed.
• Ensure areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.

Key Responsibilities
