Job summary

Holiday Inn Southampton-Eastleigh is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant on an Occasional Worker Agreement (Casual). You will help deliver memorable dining experiences, support the team during busy periods, and ensure guest satisfaction with every interaction.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays while maintaining high standards of service and hospitality in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
