Job summary

Pertemps is supporting Royal Mail in Folkestone with a Postal Delivery Driver role. This temporary contract is full-time equivalent to 30 hours per week, Mon-Fri with weekend availability required.

Shift hours are 1:30pm–8:00pm, paying £13.69 per hour, with duties including sorting, loading and doorstep deliveries. You'll work from the local delivery office, delivering by foot or vehicle, walking up to eight miles daily and lifting mail bags and parcels up to 20kg.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence and clean record.
• Holds licence for at least 6 months.
• Excellent time management and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at the delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, up to 8 miles daily.
• Lift mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Utilise delivery trolleys when required.
