Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Canterbury is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Driver to support Royal Mail. This temporary role involves delivering letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, with a 3pm–9pm shift and a 30-hour week.

You will sort and load deliveries at the local office, use a handheld device for signatures, and handle bags up to 20kg in all weather. A full UK manual driving licence (6 points max) is required; prior driving experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Efficiently manage time to meet delivery windows.
• Provide courteous service to customers.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willing to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy mail bags.

Responsibilities

• Start the shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
