Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Focus Improvement Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement (CI) of ongoing issues to improve output and performance within our large soft drinks company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives, identifying corrective actions and prevention strategies to further improve our manufacturing facility. Follow through the problem from initial stage to finally resolving.
  2. Develop, implement, and monitor continuous improvement programs and initiatives, focusing on enhancing productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with the engineering team and other business units to identify and solve recurring issues, thereby enhancing overall operational performance.
  4. Use data-driven techniques and analytical skills to pinpoint issues and develop strategic improvement plans.
  5. Provide technical support and guidance to the operations team to ensure all production activities align with the company's performance and quality standards.
  6. Facilitate training and workshops to spread the continuous improvement culture across the organization.
  7. Document all processes and actions taken to improve accuracy and provide a clear understanding of the methodology used.
  8. Maintain product Food Safety, Legality, Integrity, Authenticity, and Quality standards by ensuring all associated policies and procedures are adhered to.
Role Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  1. Engineering recognized qualification.
  2. Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or production industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
  4. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  5. Proficiency in the use of data analysis tools and software.
  6. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  7. Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
