Job summary

Paradigm Employment Services seeks a Team Leader for a leading global FMCG producer. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity on a defined shift, supervise a manufacturing team, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment with proven leadership and management capability.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• HACCP awareness and allergen knowledge.
• Organised with ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Continuous improvement mindset to reduce downtime and boost performance.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with H&S and Fire policies.
• Drive KPIs for your area and motivate the team to meet targets.
• Monitor product quality, reject unsuitable products and minimise waste.
• Ensure materials are ordered accurately and on time.
• Oversee training and competency of nominated employees.
• Coordinate day-to-day workforce activities within the operation area.
• Complete checks (CCPs) and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Lead product changeovers and machine setups per procedures.
• Escalate breakdowns promptly and seek corrective actions.
