Job summary

Newly Weds Foods in the United Kingdom is seeking a meticulous Supply Chain Administrator on a 6-month fixed term contract. You will coordinate production schedules, manage resources and materials, and ensure customer requirements are met on time and in full.

You’ll support safety, hygiene and quality while driving continuous improvement through strong cross‑functional collaboration with Production, Purchasing, IT and QC teams. Proactive problem solving and robust data analysis are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG manufacturing or production planning environments.
• Experience handling multiple SKUs and scheduling requirements.
• Strong understanding of MRP, inventory management and production planning processes.
• Able to analyse data and use information to make planning decisions.
• Excellent communication across Production, Purchasing, IT and QC teams.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate daily production schedules using order data and updates.
• Maximise plant running hours and throughput while minimising downtime.
• Maintain scheduling information including machine speeds, batch times and allergen segregation.
• Create and manage rework plans to reintroduce product into the process promptly.
• Identify scheduling or production issues and re-plan to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with production management to identify waste and drive improvements.
• Coordinate and follow up scheduled clean-down processes.
• Attend daily/weekly updates with production and Purchasing teams.
• Maintain regular communication with QA, Customer Service, Sales and Production teams.
• Liaise with Technical Department to plan production trials.
• Use Unity and planning spreadsheets accurately and resolve IT issues as needed.
