Job summary

Mailway Packaging Solutions in Bradford seeks a Production Manager to lead contract packing lines in a fast-paced FMCG setting. You’ll oversee Team Leaders and shopfloor teams, drive Lean improvements, and ensure output, quality, hygiene and health & safety standards are met.

This hands-on role offers visibility across production metrics, collaboration with multiple departments, and the opportunity to shape performance through coaching and KPI-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have prior Production Manager or equivalent experience on packaging lines.
• Hands-on leadership with ability to coach Team Leaders.
• Strong knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement/Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Team Leaders and shopfloor teams.
• Drive Lean/Kaizen improvements to boost efficiency and reduce rejects.
• Ensure productivity, quality, hygiene and H&S targets are met.
• Communicate daily figures and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain traceability and quality standards.
