Job summary

Advanced Engineering in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a food manufacturing site. You should be NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent and have strong FMCG maintenance exposure.

The role focuses on minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe, efficient environment. The position offers a salary of £53,820 with a 4 on 4 off days pattern (then nights and back to days).

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in maintenance engineering.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Flexible, team-focused and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and inspections on production machinery to prevent faults and keep equipment running.
• Assist in development of predictive and planned maintenance systems for production equipment.
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns, identify causes and arrange repairs or specialist support.
• Set up, adjust and change over machinery to keep production running efficiently.
• Inspect and calibrate equipment to ensure safety, quality and performance standards.
• Fault find efficiently using relevant documentation and procedures.
• Ensure machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard and support process improvements.
