Thrive Group in Frome is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a busy FMCG production environment. You will report to the Laboratory Manager and carry out tests in both chemistry and microbiology labs, handling swabs, media prep, and re-testing decisions to ensure product quality.

Key responsibilities include processing product release requests, managing daily exception reports, and maintaining lab stock with regular stock-takes.

Qualifikationen

• Previous working experience in chemistry or microbiology lab.
• Good communication with colleagues and management.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workload to ensure timely testing.

Aufgaben

• Carry out tests in Chemistry and Microbiology labs.
• Perform environmental and plant hygiene swabs and media prep.
• Determine non-complying results and coordinate re-sampling and re-testing.
• Process product release requests by email/phone.
• Compile out-of-spec results and distribute daily.</br>
• Manage lab consumables stock and weekly stock-takes.
