Job summary

Planet CIC in London seeks a Junior Category Manager or Category Manager to join the head office in Hammersmith, West London. The role offers a development path toward Category Manager with exposure to a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will contribute to category strategies, analyse data, and collaborate with colleagues to drive growth across the UK market. A UK FMCG background and strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• FMCG background, preferably in UK market.
• Category or Sales executive with strong analytical skills & over 2-year experience ready to take the next step for their career.
• Demonstrates a good understanding in category management principles.
• Commercially aware with strong communication and data interpretation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and build cross-functional relationships.

Our client is a global leader in food manufacturing selling products in over 100 countries with 25 factories worldwide. They are currently looking for a Junior Category Manager or Category Manager to be based at the head office in Hammersmith, West London.

This is an excellent opportunity, the company's portfolio has grown strongly in the past 5 years and they are looking for a candidate to grow rapidly as part of a close knit and supportive team with an autonomous working environment. This is a developmental role, a path to becoming a category manager.
