Job summary

Franco Manca is hiring a Pizza Second Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen in Greater London. You’ll support the Head Chef, help deliver consistently excellent pizzas, and take charge of key kitchen areas including prep, quality control, and hygiene.

You’ll work closely with the team to maintain high standards, train junior members, and stay composed under pressure. A passion for fresh ingredients and great food will help you thrive in our friendly Franco family.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and keep the heart of the pizzeria beating.
• Deliver consistently amazing food and ensure every pizza is a masterpiece.
• Take responsibility for key kitchen areas: prep, quality control, hygiene and safety.
• Train and support junior team members, sharing skills and passion for great food.
• Stay calm under pressure and lead the team when the Head Chef isn’t around.
• Hands-on role from stretching dough to crafting pizzas that delight guests.
