A quick look at the role

The FM Account Manager objectives are to build close working relationships with third parties and internal stakeholders, ensure that Biffa maintains a fully compliant estate, implement robust loss prevention strategies, and reduce operational downtime.

The FM Account Manager will continually seek performance improvements and develop a joint strategic agenda with suppliers to monitor and enhance ongoing performance, manage risks, and reduce costs.

We are seeking an experienced FM Account Manager with FM knowledge who is eager to make a positive impact within a changing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the daily operation of both hard & soft services, organizing the site team and supply chain to meet contractual outputs and objectives.
  • Maintain customer relations through progress meetings, site visits, and referrals.
  • Manage a team of soft & hard services contractors and contract support workers to maximize performance.
  • Ensure healthy and safe working conditions and regularly review the H&S policy.
  • Operate and maintain CAFM systems to manage planned and reactive tasks.
Requirements
  • BIFM / NEBOSH Qualification (Desirable)
  • Proven track record in contract management (Desirable)
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Forward-thinking skills
  • Ability to respond to out-of-hours support for operations
