Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking a Design Engineer to translate customer briefs into practical, production-ready fluid power and electrical solutions. You will produce accurate 3D CAD drawings, Bills of Materials, and support confident cost estimates while ensuring quality, HSE and legislation are met.

You will collaborate with application engineers, customers, sales, project managers and the workshop team to take projects from initial specification through production and final sign‑off,

Qualifications

• Experience designing fluid power systems from customer specs.
• Ability to create accurate 3D CAD drawings and BOMs.
• Proficiency in producing clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design efficient, reliable fluid power systems from customer and technical specifications using 3D CAD.
• Produce accurate engineering drawings and comprehensive Bills of Materials for production.
• Shape commercially sound solutions by supporting system costing with pricing colleagues.
• Collaborate with project and workshop teams to manage design changes and delivery schedules.
• Create accessible manuals and technical data sheets for stakeholders.
