Are you passionate about education and fluent in Welsh? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community on a full-time basis, starting Monday, 28th April 2025. If you're eager to make a difference and support the learning of young students in Key Stage 1, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum alongside the class teacher, ensuring engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
2. Provide targeted support to individual students and small groups to help them reach their full potential.
3. Encourage the use of the Welsh language throughout the school day, supporting children in their Welsh language development.
4. Foster a positive, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment for all students.
5. Supervise and engage students during breaks and extracurricular activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Fluent Welsh speaker – essential for supporting Welsh language learning and communication with students.
2. Experience working with young children, especially within a Key Stage 1 setting, is highly desirable.
3. Must have your own transport to and from the school.
4. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for working with children.
5. A valid DBS check will be required.
