The Best Connection is seeking a FLT/Warehouse Operative in Halstead to support daily warehouse activities on a temp-to-perm basis. This role involves a rotating shift pattern (6am-2pm and 11am-7pm), handling goods-in/out, and using SAP for inventory control.

A valid FLT licence is required, and flexibility is essential to meet production demands. The site offers parking, accessible public transport, and a clean, organized working environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the full flow of warehouse operations from receipt to dispatch to meet production and customer requirements.
• Manage inventory and documentation through SAP and coordinate with production, transport providers and suppliers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Operate forklifts and reach trucks following training, health and safety regulations and GMP standards.
• Handle goods-in/out activities: receiving, checking, inspecting quality, preparing shipments and timely dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation, promote safe working practices, report hazards and issues.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers to support efficient day-to-day operations.

FLT/WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE S REQUIRED

Our client based in Halstead, requires FLT/Warehouse Operative s on a temp to perm basis.

Shifts: Monday to Friday role: rotating shift pattern of Mornings (6am-2pm) and Afternoons (11am-7pm). Flexibility will be key to supporting changing production and operational demands.

Location: Halstead

Will need to hold a FLT licence (Not an inhouse licence)

Main responsibilities

• Support the full flow of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are safely and accurately received, stored, moved, and dispatched to meet production and customer requirements.
• Manage inventory and documentation through warehouse management systems such as SAP, and work closely with production teams, transport providers, and suppliers to ensure smooth daily operations. Health, safety, quality, and data accuracy will be central to everything.
• Operate warehouse and material handling equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, in line with training requirements, Health & Safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
• Manage goods-in and goods-out activities, including receiving and checking deliveries, inspecting product quality, preparing shipments, and ensuring accurate and timely dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation, promote safe working practices, and report hazards, incidents, or operational issues in line with site procedures.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse colleagues, production teams, transport providers, and suppliers to support efficient day-to-day operations and service delivery.
