The Best Connection Group Ltd is seeking FLT/Warehouse Operatives in Halstead to support full warehouse operations on rotating morning and afternoon shifts. A non-inhouse FLT licence is required, with SAP experience beneficial for inventory and dispatch tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the full flow of warehouse operations to ensure goods are received, stored, moved and dispatched to meet production and customer requirements.
• Manage inventory and documentation using warehouse management systems such as SAP, ensuring health, safety, quality and data accuracy.
• Operate forklift and reach truck safely in line with GMP and training requirements.
• Oversee goods-in and goods-out activities, including receiving/checking deliveries and preparing shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation; report hazards or issues per site procedures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, production teams, transport providers and suppliers to support daily operations.

Job description

FLT/Warehouse Operatives required in Halstead

rotating shift pattern of Mornings (6am-2pm) and Afternoons (11am-7pm). Flexibility will be key to supporting changing production and operational demands.

Will need to hold a FLT licence (Not an inhouse licence)

Main responsibilities

• Support the full flow of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are safely and accurately received, stored, moved, and dispatched to meet production and customer requirements.
• Manage inventory and documentation through warehouse management systems such as SAP, and work closely with production teams, transport providers, and suppliers to ensure smooth daily operations. Health, safety, quality, and data accuracy will be central to everything.
• Operate warehouse and material handling equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, in line with training requirements, Health & Safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

• Manage goods-in and goods-out activities, including receiving and checking deliveries, inspecting product quality, preparing shipments, and ensuring accurate and timely dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation, promote safe working practices, and report hazards, incidents, or operational issues in line with site procedures.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse colleagues, production teams, transport providers, and suppliers to support efficient day-to-day operations and service delivery.
