Job summary

PD Ports is hiring Warehouse Operatives for Billingham or Hartlepool. These full-time roles encompass shifts including fixed nights and a 4 on/4 off pattern. Responsibilities center on safe operation of MHE, diligent housekeeping, and accurate handling of goods using RDT/HHT devices.

Ideal candidates will have a proven safety record, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Experience with FLTs in a busy warehouse is essential.

• Proven track record of working safely in line with company training and policy.
• Proactive by nature with a positive attitude.
• Able to communicate effectively within a team and work toward a shared goal.
• Solid experience operating FLTs within a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of a variety of MHE in line with company training standards.
• Proactive and effective housekeeping at all times.
• Use of RDT/HHT devices to transact customer goods within our facilities.
• Manual handling tasks including use of a pallet truck.
• Working effectively as part of a team.
