Job summary

Westray Recruitment is seeking experienced FLT Operatives for a busy warehouse in Billingham. You will safely move stock, load/unload vehicles, and handle pallets using a Counterbalance FLT while following site procedures.

Two shift patterns offered with rotating and continental options; hourly pay rates apply and overtime is paid at time and a third. A valid licence and safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Externally accredited qualification RTITB/ITSSAR/NPORS.
• Previous FLT and warehouse experience.
• Experience working safely in a busy operational environment.
• Full and honest CV outlining employment history.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload vehicles and containers.
• Move and store pallets in warehouse.
• Record stock movements with handheld scanners.
• Support goods-in and goods-out operations.
• Check stock and report discrepancies.
• Prepare goods and pallets for dispatch.
• Complete general palletising duties.
• Learn and operate specialist machinery as required.
• Carry out manual handling and general duties.
• Work safely in busy, congested areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organised workplace.
