Job summary

Your Recruiters Limited in Belfast is hiring a FLT / Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance) on a permanent contract to start ASAP. The role starts at 40 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £27,040 per annum.

You will operate the counterbalance forklift and perform warehousing tasks, pack and pick stock, maintain health and safety standards, assist with stock takes, and support other roles as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

• Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack material to customer requirements and maintain quality.
• Maintain safety standards and report any issues or vehicle defects.

FLT / Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance) – Permanent Contract to start ASAP!!

Location: Belfast BT3

Hours of Work: 40hrs – 8.00am – 5.00pm – Mon – Fri

Salary: £27,040pa

To deal with stock stored within the facility, Daily tasks will include moving stock both with MHE and by hand, Operating machinery such as Guillotines and packing to the required standards.

• Operating Counterbalance FLT along with warehousing duties
• Work as part of a team and as an individual to ensure stock is sorted in a safe and controlled manner
• Move stock around the facility safely using both MHE and by hand in line with your qualifications and training
• Ensure all safety standards are maintained throughout your working day in line with our Health and Safety Policies
• Pick and Pack Material in line with customer requirements ensuring quality standards are maintained at all times and any quality issues are reported straight away
• Work safely and efficiently at all times
• Report any safety issues or vehicle Defects immediately to your supervisor
• Maintained KPIs in line with business requirements
• Assist with 5s and general Housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment is kept at all times
• Operate a Guillotine when requested to do so and fully trained
• Cover other roles within the warehouse should the business have any unplanned absence or require holiday cover
• Assist and support with the business annual stock take
• Complete all necessary paperwork in line with customer and business requirements
• Conduct hardness and conductivity testing when required
• Conduct XFR testing when required
