Westmill in Selby is hiring a Loader / FLT Warehouse Operative to move finished goods, packaging and materials safely, ensuring production has what it needs. This hands-on role supports the flow of goods across the site.

You will operate rotating shifts, holding an FLT licence, and work 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The job emphasizes accuracy, safety and teamwork in a busy food production environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an FLT licence.
• Good basic safety awareness in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading finished goods, packaging, pallets and tote bags safely.
• Moving finished goods pallets from the packing hall.
• Ensuring pallets have correct finished goods labels.
• Supplying packaging and consumables to production lines.
• Removing waste and keeping areas clean and safe.
• Completing pre-start checks and required documentation.
• Supporting Line Technicians and palletiser activity when needed.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working area during shifts.
• Reporting health and safety issues and near misses promptly.
