Job summary

The Best Connection is currently recruiting an experienced FLT VNA Driver for a leading steel distribution client in West Bromwich. This night-shift role requires a valid VNA licence and proven experience operating a FLT VNA to move steel products safely.

You will work Sunday to Wednesday nights and Thursday nights, with a pay rate of £17.50 per hour inclusive of a 25% shift allowance, weekly pay, and access to payslips and pension information.

Qualifications

• Valid VNA licence required.
• Experience operating a FLT VNA.
• Punctual and reliable in a fast-paced warehouse.

Hours of Work

Night Shift

Sunday to Wednesday: 22:00 - 06:00

Thursday: 22:00 - 05:00

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour (inclusive of 25% shift allowance)

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a FLT VNA to pick and transport steel products.
• Loading and unloading HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading warehouse racking.
• Moving stock throughout warehouse, production and dispatch areas.
• Working towards daily productivity and performance targets.
• Palletising, shrink-wrapping and labelling customer orders.
• Conducting stock checks and order verification.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Carrying out any additional warehouse duties as required by management.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a valid and in-date VNA licence.
• Have previous experience operating a FLT VNA.
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
