Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an FLT VNA Driver for a prestigious steel distribution client based in West Bromwich. You will operate a VNA forklift to move steel products and support loading, unloading, and stock movements.

Night shift availability is essential with weekly pay and a strong health & safety focus. A valid VNA licence and prior FLT VNA experience are required to proceed to interview with the client manager.

Responsibilities

• Operate a FLT VNA to pick and transport steel products.
• Load and unload HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload warehouse racking.
• Move stock throughout warehouse, production and dispatch areas.
• Work towards daily productivity and performance targets.
• Palletise, shrink-wrap and label customer orders.
• Conduct stock checks and order verification.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Carry out any additional warehouse duties as required by management.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting an experienced FLT VNA Driver for our prestigious steel distribution client based in West Bromwich.

Important Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid, in-date VNA licence/certificate

Successful candidates will be required to attend an interview with the client manager

Hours of Work

Night Shift

• Sunday to Wednesday: 22:00 - 06:00
• Thursday: 22:00 - 05:00

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour (inclusive of 25% shift allowance)

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a FLT VNA to pick and transport steel products.
• Loading and unloading HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading warehouse racking.
• Moving stock throughout warehouse, production and dispatch areas.
• Working towards daily productivity and performance targets.
• Palletising, shrink-wrapping and labelling customer orders.
• Conducting stock checks and order verification.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Carrying out any additional warehouse duties as required by management.

Candidate Requirements
