Job summary

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Manual handling, heavy lifting and unloading trailers and then using the truck.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation.
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and precise placement of goods in designated storage areas.
• Support warehouse organisation by stacking, sorting, and storing products efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Pay rate: £14.45 - 15.23/hr

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Normanton

Hours:

22:00 - 07:00 Sunday to Thursday

or

16:00 - 01:00 Tuesday to Saturday

or

07:00 - 16.00 Monday to Friday

First Choice are seeking motivated and detail-oriented FLT (Forklift Truck ) Operators with experience on Reach machines on behalf of our client, a long established delivery and storage company. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse environment.
