People Solutions is seeking an FLT Reach Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative for a site in Middleton. The role combines 50% FLT operation with 50% warehouse duties, offering ongoing work, weekly pay, and opportunities for development. Immediate starts available for the right candidate.

The position requires a valid Reach Truck licence and proven FLT experience, along with good teamwork and the ability to handle physical work up to 25kg. On-site facilities include a canteen and free parking.

Formación

Responsabilidades

FLT Reach Truck Driver

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Middleton (M24).

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable weekday hours, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an FLT Operator, FLT Driver or Forklift Truck Operative.

Shifts:

• Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 6.30am & Friday 8.00am - 5:30pm
• One-hour unpaid break

Rates of Pay:

• £14.10 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

Please bare in mind, this role is 50% FLT Reach and 50% warehouse operative.As an FLT Reach Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative , your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Picking and Packing customer orders
• Loading and unloading customer orders
• Potential development: Training on a saw machine and router machine
• This is a physically demanding role, manual handling and lifting up to 25kg.
• Operating an FLT Reach Truck safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-use inspections and reporting any faults
• Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets
• Checking quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
• Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries
• Organising stock for dispatch
• Moving goods around the warehouse as required
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

As an FLT Reach Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative , you will need:

• Valid accredited Reach Truck licence
• Proven experience operating an FLT Reach Truck (minimum 12 months experience)
• Minimum of 12 months experience working as a warehouse operative
• Comfortable to complete physical work and lifting up to 25kg
• Good communication skills & ability to multi-task
• Strong spatial awareness
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Reliable & self-motivated attitude
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
