Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is seeking an experienced FLT Reach Driver for a full-time, day-shift role in a leading food and drinks logistics environment. The job includes operating reach and counterbalance forklifts, supporting with palletising and picking, and using RF scanners.

Attendance and reliability are highly valued. The position offers a 48-hour week, with shifts starting at 0600 and completing between 1400–1600 as required, and a pay rate of £13.07 per hour rising to £13.73 after 12

Qualifications

• FLT Reach driver with a valid licence and recent experience.
• Minimum of 6 months active driving experience.
• In-house certificates may be accepted if dated within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT Reach, PPT, and/or Counterbalance according to standards.
• Assist with off-truck manual duties including picking and palletising stock.
• Use handheld RF scanners and maintain warehouse housekeeping.

We are actively seeking an experienced FLT Reach Driver with a forklift licence dated within the past 3 years. In-house certificates may be accepted provided it is dated more recently, and that you can demonstrate a minimum of 6 months active driving experience.

The work will be based within a leading food / drinks logistics business, and as such the work volumes will increase significantly between now and Christmas. However this is a strong likelihood that if you are performing well and your attendance is reliable, that a temp-to-perm opportunity will become available.

Daily duties of the MHE Driver include:

• Operating the FLT Reach, PPT and/or Counterbalance in line with company standards
• Supporting with some off-truck manual duties including picking and palletising stock
• Use of handheld RF scanners
• General housekeeping of the warehouse area

Hours of work:

0600 start, finishing between 1400 - 1600 in accordance with business requirement

Rate of pay:

£13.07 per hour increasing to £13.73 after 12 weeks (inclusive of attendance premium)

Benefits:
