Job summary

Grant Westfield Limited in Edinburgh seeks an FLT Operator to support production and dispatch. You will load, unload and move stock, pick and pack, and conduct stock checks while adhering to Health & Safety standards. A Counterbalance forklift licence is preferred and training offered on site.

The role is permanent, with day shifts and a typical pay rate of £13.90 per hour, based in our Edinburgh office. Join an established manufacturing team dedicated to quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Desirable Counterbalance forklift licence or licence to drive assisted lift equipment.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate a FLT to move stock around.
• Load and unload vehicles; manage storage racking and equipment.
• Pick and pack finished goods and raw materials; perform stock counts.
• Conduct product quality inspections and check for damaged items.
• Report faults to maintenance; ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse environment and comply with Health & Safety requirements.
