Job summary

Taylor Blackwood Associates are recruiting for a Forklift Driver / Saw Operator on behalf of a well-established company based in Brownhills. You will support the production team by operating machinery, preparing materials, and moving stock throughout the site.

The role offers Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm, with a pay rate of £13.00 per hour and weekly pay through Taylor Blackwood Associates. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with long-term prospects in a busy manufacturing

Qualifications

• Operate a saw to cut timber to required sizes.
• Manufacture wooden pallets.
• Move stock with counterbalance forklift.
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties.

The Role

As a Forklift Driver / Saw Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the production team by operating machinery, preparing materials, and safely moving stock throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a saw to cut timber to the required sizes
• Manufacturing wooden pallets
• Using hand tools to complete production tasks
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move stock and materials
• Assisting with general warehouse and production duties as required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
