Job summary

Pertemps Wrexham in Runcorn is seeking an experienced FLT Operative to operate counterbalance or reach trucks in a busy distribution centre.

You will work a 4 on / 4 off, rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights), loading/unloading, stock replenishment, and ensuring safety and quality. The role pays £15.03 per hour, with temporary ongoing status and potential permanent opportunities for high performers.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence required.
• Experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Willingness to work a rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently according to site procedures.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles with care to avoid damage.
• Move stock to designated storage and production areas.
• Carry out daily pre-use checks and report defects.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.
