Job summary

Staffline is recruiting FLT Operatives in Wrexham for a full-time role in a chilled warehouse environment. The position involves 4 on, 4 off shifts from 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am, with hourly pay for days and nights, and overtime rates.

Training is provided, and the role offers on-site support, a canteen, free parking, and free food/drinks. Applicants should have Reach and Counterbalance licences (training can be provided) and the ability to work in a cold store at -5°C.

Qualifications

• Experience operating FLT in a warehouse environment.
• Licence for Reach truck and Counterbalance preferred; training available.
• Ability to work in cold stores, -5°C.

Responsibilities

• Supply the factory with ingredients and packaging.
• Operate reach and counterbalance FLTs.
• Use handheld scanners or RF guns.
• Read labels and codes accurately.
• Spot discrepancies (wrong item, damaged packaging).
• Count quantities correctly; work with units, boxes, pallets.
• Understand pick lists and scanner prompts.
• Follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Maintain pace without sacrificing accuracy.
• Be physically fit for bending, lifting and reaching.

Staffline is recruiting FLT Operatives in Wrexham.

Rate of pay

• Days £13.65 per hour
• Nights £14.72 per hour

Overtime

• Days £20.48 per hour
• Nights £22.08 per hour

Contract & hours

• Full-time role
• Hours of work: 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm
• Hours of work: 4 on 4 off, 6pm to 6am

Responsibilities

• Supplying the factory with ingredients and packaging, Reach truck and Counterbalance FLT's
• Using handheld scanners or RF guns
• Reading labels and codes accurately
• Spotting discrepancies (wrong item, damaged packaging)
• Counting quantities correctlyWorking with units, boxes, cases, pallets
• Understanding pick lists, handheld scanner prompts
• Following standard operating procedures
• Working at a good pace without sacrificing accuracy
• Physically fit as bending, lifting, and reaching is required
• Using correct lifting techniques
• Following warehouse safety rules
