Job summary

Florette is recruiting a Yard Operative at our Lichfield site (WS13 8NF). The role focuses on maintaining hygiene standards and clearing rubbish across the site, with duties including managing skips and compactors and ensuring safety compliance.

Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10am–6pm. A valid FLT licence and Food Safety qualifications, plus a flexible approach to hours, are required. Competitive hourly pay plus benefits are offered.

• Highlight any food or people safety issues to your manager across the site.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Operative to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF.

This role is responsible for maintaining site standards of hygiene and cleanliness with managing the removal of all rubbish around site.

Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10am - 6pm

Pay: £13.99 per hour

• Smoke shelter is maintained to a high standard to be free of rubbish or cigarettes with the emptying of the bins as and when required.
• Support stores and intake as and when required with FLT skills.
• Highlight any food or people safety issues to your manager from around the site.

Skills And Experience Required

• To have basic written and spoken understanding of English
• Ability to understand and undertake Food Safety Qualification.
• Have a flexible approach to work and hours.
• Ability to understand and adhere to Health and Safety requirements.
• Able to carry out duties in line with Occupational Health requirements.
• Must hold a valid FLT Licence
