Florette in Lichfield is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to keep our production and packaging lines running safely and efficiently. You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot faults and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers 5 on 5 off and 4 on 4 off days/nights with a salary of £51,000 per year plus benefits. You will work closely with manufacturing teams to minimise downtime and extend asset life.

Competenze

• Qualified in engineering with an electrical bias.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF.

This role is t o m aintain , repair and improve machinery, equipment and facilities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations . Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime, extend asset life and optimize performance.

Working hours: 5 on 5 off, 4on 4 off (Days/Nights)

Pay: £51000 per annum

Main Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Tro ubles hoot mechanical, electrical and automation issues to minimise downti me.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and modification projects.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Document maintenance work and maintain accurate records in the CMMS system.

SkillsandExperience Required

• Completion of a recognised engineering qualification with an electrical bias.
• Solid engineering experience, ideally within food manufacturing.
• Familiarity with process machinery or equivalent equipment with the ability to logically diagnose and fault find.
• Awareness and understanding of statutory requirements and legislation.
• Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and engineering documentation.
• Excellen t communication and problem solving skills.
