A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Fork Lift Driver/Yard Operative to join a National Builders Merchant near Maidstone. This role involves maintaining a clean yard, loading and unloading vehicles, and driving a forklift truck. Candidates must have an accredited counterbalance forklift licence and prior experience in a yard or warehouse environment. Qualifications

Overview

We are currently working with a National Builders Merchant based just outside of Maidstone. Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Fork Lift Driver/Yard Operative to join their team on a temporary-permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and well organised
• Looking after stock in the yard area
• Loading lorries
• Driving a Forklift Truck (Counterbalance)
• Unloading suppliers’ delivery vehicles
• Working in the warehouse

Qualifications

• Have a current, accredited forklift truck licence (Counterbalance)
• Previous experience working in a warehouse/yard environment – a builders merchant is preferred
• A really positive attitude
• Be reliable and enthusiastic
• Have the ability to talk to customers/employees at all levels

Hours

Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm
