Job summary

A national builders merchant near Sittingbourne is seeking an experienced Yard Operative/Fork Lift Driver. The role involves keeping the yard organized, loading lorries, and operating a forklift truck. Candidates must have a forklift truck licence and experience in a warehouse environment. A positive, reliable attitude is essential. This is a temporary-permanent position with working hours Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5.30pm.

Qualifications

• Have a current, accredited forklift truck licence.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse/yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and well organised.
• Looking after stock in the yard area.
• Loading lorries.
• Driving a Forklift Truck (Counterbalance).
• Unloading suppliers' delivery vehicles.
• Working in the warehouse.
