Job summary

Owen Payne Recruitment Services Ltd in Bilston is recruiting an experienced FLT Driver / Yard Operative for a growing manufacturing client. You will operate a Counterbalance Forklift, load and unload materials, sort and organise raw materials in the yard, and work with steel and aluminium products to keep stock moving safely.

This on-going role offers competitive hourly pay, weekly PAYE payments, early finishes on Fridays, free parking and an onsite canteen, plus a pension and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous yard operative experience.
• Experience working with overhead cranes.
• Valid, in-date Accredited Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Experience handling large lengths of steel.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Loading, unloading and moving materials safely.
• Sorting and organising raw materials within the yard.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:45
• Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
