Job summary

Daval Associates in Tipton is seeking an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehousing team. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, assist with loading, unloading and stock movement, while keeping safety at the forefront.

This hands-on role requires reliability, physical fitness and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Full-time, ongoing position with regular daytime hours and a £13.49 per hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Previous experience operating an FLT within a warehouse environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load, unload and move goods around the warehouse.
• Load products onto vehicles in line with company procedures and health and safety standards.
• Carry out general warehouse duties including handling, sorting and moving stock.
• Complete demolition of non-returnable products following company procedures.
• Assist with receiving, storing and organising materials within the warehouse.
• Complete quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
• Use warehouse systems accurately to record stock movements and maintain inventory records.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Report any health and safety concerns, damaged equipment or operational issues.
• Support the wider warehouse team with additional duties as required.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 1:01pm - 10:00pm
Friday 12:15pm - 6:30pm

FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative - Tipton

We are currently recruiting for a hardworking and reliable FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team based in Tipton (DY4).

This is a hands-on role combining forklift truck operation with a range of manual warehouse duties. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
